Patricia E. Molina, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Molina's research focuses on the impact of alcohol and drug abuse on the consequences of acute traumatic injury and hemorrhagic shock. A second area of research explores the interaction of alcohol and drug abuse on the behavioral, metabolic, and immune consequences of HIV/AIDS. She is currently the Principal Investigator on a project to study the effects of chronic alcohol abuse and HIV/AIDS on muscle wasting and a project to study the effects of cannabinoids on HIV/AIDS.
